As youngsters, we loved the friendly staff and the opportunity to meet other guests through the hostel's activities. the cafe on the first floor was a great place to hang out, and the draft beer was a must-try. the bathrooms and bedrooms were always clean, and the beds were comfortable. the hostel's location was excellent, with Shinjuku station just a short walk away. We also appreciated the option to store our luggage before check-in and after checkout.
Felt right at home, no complaints whatsoever.

The hostel had a great location near Shinjuku station, making it easy to explore the city. The staff member I spoke to had good English and provided helpful advice for getting to the airport. The common area was spacious and had plenty of tables, perfect for eating or unpacking without disturbing others.
The dorms were a bit crowded due to limited space and the luggage taking up a lot of room. The lockers were narrow and could only fit a laptop and maybe a book.

Imano was definitely worth the money, with clean and private beds. The location was ideal, close to stations and downtown Shinjuku. The staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke fantastic English.
The only thing that could've been better about the breakfast selection was adding more variety.

The hostel's location is ideal, with a 10-minute walk to a major train station and plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. It is situated in a quiet street, allowing for a peaceful stay. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with spacious beds and curtains for privacy. the bathroom facilities were abundant, with numerous showers and toilets available, ensuring no waiting time. There were also provided amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, adding convenience to the stay. the buffet breakfast had a reasonable selection, including toast, sausages, eggs, cereal, tea.
The social atmosphere in the hostel was lacking, with many guests being antisocial and not interested in meeting others.

The private room for four was perfect for our group. We had enough space for our bags and the bathroom facilities were clean and accessible. The small kitchen on our floor was a great addition, allowing us to heat up meals and make hot drinks. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the main restaurant district and a bit further to the train station.
The beds and pillows were not the most comfortable, which made it a bit difficult to get a good night's sleep. there was some noise from other guests, especially in the common area located right outside the dorm rooms.

The staff at Imano were friendly and the location was excellent. We also had the opportunity to attend their value-packed social events. The cleanliness of the facilities was impressive, as expected in Japan. The 600 yen breakfast, with unlimited cereal and coffee, was a great deal.
There were some minor drawbacks. The check-in process using a QR code was a bit time-consuming, and the presence of a smoking area near the lobby was unpleasant.
